The Grebe
A standard body acoustic violin has each corner cut
out from the front and back plates. The sides of these holes are then paneled in with
maple ribs. The resulting skeleton shape is very light and extremely strong. An access
panel is fitted in the lower left bout under the chin-rest. The scroll is re-shaped to a
´duck´ foot design. Sprayed any colour required and fitted with a choice of pickups.

The Griffin
Contemporary design retaining all the key positional
cues. Solid Basswood body with Maple neck. The lower bouts are hollowed out on the back to
reduce weight and to provide access to the wiring. A maple back plate is fitted which also
provides the shoulder rest edges. Ebony and Rosewood fittings. Varnished with a hard
wearing satin Mahogany finish. Fully fitted it weighs only 580 grams.

The
Hawk
Contemporary design retaining all the key positional cues. Hollow. Classical construction with maple plates, ribs and neck, spruce linings and corner blocks, ebony or rosewood fittings. Available in 4 or 5 string versions with a choice of pickups. A panel on the rear plate gains access to the inside.
